One of my favorite recipes from childhood. My mom used to make it on Sunday's when days were more relaxing.

Ingredients For aunt jane's chicken & rice

  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c
    uncooked rice
  • 4
    chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c
    melted butter
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 pinch
    paprika
  • salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make aunt jane's chicken & rice

  • 1
    Mix soups. Add milk. Stir until blended.

    Pour 1/2 of soup "gravy" into greased 13x9x2 greased casserole dish. Place rice over soup mixture. Cover rice with remaining soup gravy. Place chicken on top. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika. Pour melted butter over top of casserole.

    Bake at 325 for two hours.
