These are so good. If you can't find sweet soy sauce you can make it by adding two parts soy sauce to one part corn syrup. I like to drizzle more sweet soy sauce on top when I serve these.

Ingredients For asian stuffed cabbage rolls

  • 1 lb
    gd. pork, gd. beef, gd. chicken or turkey your choice
  • 1 c
    carrots julieened
  • 1 c
    bean sprouts
  • 1 c
    cooked quinoa
  • 1 c
    shiitake mushrooms diced
  • 3
    green onions sliced
  • 5 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger minced
  • 4 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 2 tsp
    rice vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili garlic sauce
  • 8
    leaves separated from head of cabbage
  • SAUCE
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    sweet soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    fish sauce and sweet chili sauce
  • cilantro for garnish

How To Make asian stuffed cabbage rolls

  • 1
    Preheat oven 400 degrees. Mix all ingredients together for cabbage rolls except cabbage.

    Spray a 9 x 13 pan. Place about 1/2 cup of Asian meat mixture in each cabbage leaf. Roll up and place seam side down in baking pan.

    Mix the ingredients for sauce together and pour over top cabbage rolls. Top with foil and place in oven and bake 35 minutes.

    Remove from oven remove foil. With spatula take out each cabbage roll. Drizzle sauce over top and garnish with cilantro.
