I try to make a variety of dishes with chicken breast meat. This is what we had for dinner tonight over white rice.

Ingredients For asian sesame seed chicken

2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

1 tspheaping, minced bottled garlic

1 lgvidalia onion, slivered

1whole chicken breast, skinless and boneless

1 csliced fresh mushrooms
-
1 cansliced water chestnuts
-
2 tsppimentos
-
1 pkgfrozen asian stir fry vegetables

2 tspmrs. dash table blend

2 tspsesame seeds
-
2 tspcornstarch ( heaping )
-
3/4 cchicken broth
-
2 Tbspsoy sauce ( opt )
-
fresh cracked pepper
How To Make asian sesame seed chicken

1Cut chicken into bite size pieces In a large skillet, on medium high heat, add oil, garlic, onions and chicken. Cook until chicken starts to turn white, turning often ( about 10 minutes )

2eadd chestnuts and mushrooms, cook another 10 minutes, stirring add packaged frozen vegetables ( I set mine out of freezer before I start preparing this dish )

3cover and cook 10 minutes, add pimentos and seasonings. ( add soy sauce now if using )

4remove lid, stir, add chicken broth mix cornstarch with 1/2 cup cold water or broth and add to bubbling skillet, stirring until clear and thickened. Sprinkle with fresh pepper.

5sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve over cooked rice or ramean noodles.
