Ingredients For asian barbecue skewers

  • 2 lb
    of chicken, beef and/or pork
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c
    thinly sliced green onions
  • 1 Tbsp
    toasted sesame seeds

How To Make asian barbecue skewers

  • 1
    Cut your meat 1 1/2 inches thick and thread onto 7 inch long skewers.

    Place skewers in a 6 quart Crock-Pot layering as flat as possible.

    combine soy sauce, brown sugar, oil and garlic in a small bowl. Reserve 1/2 cup of sauce, set aside. Pour remaining sauce over the skewers. Cover , cook on low 2 hours. Turn skewers and cook 1 more hour.
