This is another dish that I make that came out of an Amish Cookbook. It is an easy casserole to make and you can make it and freeze it also. I like the Amish cooking and so I like to keep the recipes I like.I hope you will like it also. Pat Duran donated the picture.Thank you Pat.

Ingredients For amish chicken casserole

6 Tbspbutter
-
6 Tbspflour
-
3 cchicken broth
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 cancream of chicken soup
-
1 cancream of celery soup
-
8 ozvelveeta chesse [cut up]

1 pkgegg noodles [dry or cooked]

4 cdiced cooked chicken
-
1 boxdry stuffing mix
-
1/4 tspcelery salt
How To Make amish chicken casserole

1In a saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir flour in slowly, using a wire whisk, until the butter and flour mixture begins to bubble. Continue cooking and stirring for about two minutes; remove from heat.

2In a separate pan, heat chicken broth; Stir in salt and celery salt. Once broth is fully heated, add it to the butter and flour mixture, stirring quickly.

3Return the saucepan to heat; stir over medium heat until sauce begins to thicken [ don't allow it to boil]. Add soups and velveeta cheese, Cook until creamy and smooth.

4Mix sauce, noddles, and chicken together; pour into greased 9x13 casserole pan and cover stuffing mix. Bake at 300F for 1 hour.
