Ingredients For adobo chicken and pork

  • 3 lb
    chicken thighs
  • 1 lb
    pork, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1
    head garlic, cruahed
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • peppercorns, whole black
  • 1 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce
  • 5 Tbsp
    cooking oil (optional)
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 c
    water

How To Make adobo chicken and pork

  • 1
    Put chicken and pork in a cooking pan. Add garlic, vinegar, water, bay leaf, peppercorns, soy sauce, salt and pepper.

    Cover pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until most of liquid is gone. Add the cooking oil and mix together (optional).

    Serve with rice. Can be made with all chicken or all pork if desired.
