Ingredients For turkey chili macaroni

  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lb
    lean ground turkey
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 16 oz
    black beans
  • 1 1/4 oz
    ortega chili seasoning mix
  • 16 oz
    salsa
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 8 oz
    elbow macaroni, penne pasta or pasta shells, uncooked
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar (i used more)

How To Make turkey chili macaroni

  • 1
    heat oil in large skillet over med heat until hot. Add turkey and onion. Cook and stir in seasoning mix. Add beans, salsa, macaroni, water and salt; stir well. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 min, stirring halfway through cooking to prevent sticking. Mix in cheese. Cook and stir until cheese is melted.
