This tuna casserole was something I made up years ago. Times were tough and I needed something cheap and comforting for my family. It's definitely not diet food. Everyone who tries it likes it.

Ingredients For tuna casserole

  • 16 oz box
    pasta of your choice, I use fettuccini broken in thirds
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 16 oz
    Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 2 can
    evaporated milk
  • 12 oz
    frozen peas
  • 1 or 2 can
    tuna in water, drained
  • 1/2 bag
    crushed potato chips

How To Make tuna casserole

  • 1
    Boil pasta per package directions.
  • 2
    Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add milk, soup, peas, and cheese. Cook on medium-low heat until the cheese melts. Add tuna.

    Combine sauce with pasta and pour into a large pan sprayed casserole dish. Top with potato chips.

    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes until bubbly.
