I took it out of the oven and before I could grab my camera, they were digging into it !! It's a winner.

Ingredients For tex-mex chicken 'n' rice

  • 3 to 4
    boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c
    salsa, hot, medium or mild
  • 1 c
    uncooked while rice
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 can
    corn, drained
  • garlic powder to taste
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • chile powder, to taste
  • shredded jack cheese, for topping

How To Make tex-mex chicken 'n' rice

  • 1
    Pre heat oven to 350* Mix all ingredients except chicken in a 9X13 baking dish. Top with chicken pieces. Cover, bake at 350* for 40 minutes. Remove cover, top with shredded cheese. return to oven until cheese melts, aprox. 5 minutes.
