How To Make taco ring
-
1Preheat oven to 375° F. Brown ground meat in skillet, stirring and crumbling, until browned. Drain any grease.
-
2Add taco seasoning and water to the browned meat. Simmer over medium heat until it’s slightly thickened, stirring often. If you want, you can add some shredded cheese now and stir until it melts in the taco meat mixture. While the meat is browning, then cooking, work on Step 3.
-
3Arrange the 16 crescent triangles around the outer edge of a pizza pan with the short sides overlapping and the points off the edge of the pan. (See the photo on Step 4.) To help with spacing, I put 4 crescents north, south, east, and west, then fill in with 3 crescents in each open space.
-
4Add the taco meat in a circle on the widest part of the ring, then add shredded cheese over the meat, if you want. Finally, flip the point over to the center.
-
5Bake at 375°F. for about 10 minutes, checking early if your oven runs hot. The crescent ring should be GBD (golden brown & delicious)!
-
6Remove the taco ring from the oven and slice with a pizza cutter. Serve with your choice of toppings.
-
7Keeping it real, we usually open the top on the taco ring slice and stuff the toppings in. It’s messy, but delicious. =^..^=
