Ingredients For sausage casserole

  • 2 lb
    potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 md
    onion sliced
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground pork sausage
  • 1/4 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    bbq sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make sausage casserole

  • 1
    Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until soft. Drain mash potatoes with butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

    Preheat oven 400 degrees. Heat oil in skillet. Add onion and cook 3 minutes. Add the sausage and cook until no longer pink.

    Mix tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, worcestershire sauce, soup mix, flour, and 3/4 cup water in a jug and shake until well combined. Stir into sausage mixture cook until thickened.

    Add sausage mixture into a greased baking dish. Top with cheese and then mashed potatoes
