I created this new chicken fries casserole recipe. It's in the style of nachos, and perfect for making burritos and fajitas.

Ingredients For nacho chicken fries casserole

4 ccrushed nacho tortilla chips, divided

3/4 csliced black olives

5fresh jalapenos, sliced

2 Tbspavocado oil

1 bagfrozen chicken fries

1 Tbsptaco seasoning mix
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
1packet dry onion soup mix
-
2 Tbspnacho cheese seasoning
-
1 cheavy cream
-
2 cancondensed cheddar cheese soup

8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
1 candiced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
-
8 ozsharp cheddar cheese, shredded
-
2 Tbspchopped fresh cilantro
How To Make nacho chicken fries casserole

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2Coat the bottom and sides of a 9 x 13 - inch baking dish with cooking spray.

3Add 2 cups crushed nacho tortilla chips, the sliced black olives and the sliced jalapenos; mix well.

4Heat the avocado oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the chicken fries and saute for 5 minutes or until crispy and browned.

5Stir in the taco seasoning, garlic powder, dry onion soup mix and nacho cheese seasoning. Remove from heat. Set aside.

6In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, soup, cream cheese and diced tomatoes and green chiles; whisk together for 3 minutes until blended.

7Pour over the chicken fries mixture in the saucepan; mix well.

8Spoon over the prepared baking dish evenly. Sprinkle with shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Top with remaining nacho tortilla chips.

9Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Cool for 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped cilantro on top.
