lime tiger wing casserole

I created a fifteenth recipe with tiger sauce. Tiger wings are in a casserole with a twist of lime. It's filled with leftover or takeout chicken wings, blue cheese, tiger sauce and even tater tots with a splash of lime juice.

  • 1 bag
    frozen tater tots
  • 1 c
    crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    tiger sauce, divided
  • 1 Tbsp
    avocado oil
  • 20
    leftover or takeout fried chicken wings, bones removed
  • 3 tsp
    garlic pepper
  • 4 Tbsp
    lime juice, divided
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 3/4 c
    half and half
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 3/4 c
    creamy wing sauce
  • 2 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 c
    grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make lime tiger wing casserole

    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add the tater tots and crumbled blue cheese; mix well. Drizzle with 1/2 cup tiger sauce.

    Heat the avocado oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the boneless chicken wings, season with garlic pepper, and saute for 5 minutes or until tender.

    Stir in 2 tablespoons lime juice and 1/2 cup tiger sauce. Continue to saute for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat. Cool completely.

    In a medium bowl, combine the heavy cream, half and half, cream cheese, wing sauce, crushed red pepper flakes, remaining lime juice, Parmesan cheese and remaining tiger sauce; whisk together until blended.

    Pour into the chicken wings mixture in the saucepan. Reduce to low heat. Stir and simmer for 6 minutes. Remove from heat.

    Pour into a prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

    Bake for 30 minutes or until the casserole is set and cheese is melted.
