kennedy beef & mushrooms
This was on a recipe card in Barb's handwriting, tucked inside an old recipe book from the 1970s. Since I love mushrooms, and wine added in can't hurt, I may have to go buy the beef! LOL Note: Made 1-13-21. So good! I think next time I would double the beef, thicken the sauce with a little flour, and serve on wide egg noodles. Or with some mashed potatoes cause the sauce is so darn good!

2 lblean stew beef

1 cancream of mushroom soup

1 pkgdry onion soup mix

1 cred wine

3/4 lbfresh mushrooms

1/2 tsppepper

salt to taste
How To Make kennedy beef & mushrooms

1Cut beef in 1 inch cubes and place in casserole. Add pepper. Pour soup over meat and sprinkle with soup mix. Bake at 225 degrees for 2 1/2 hours. Stir and bake 1 more hour. Blend in mushrooms, add wine and bake 1 more hour. Serve over rice.
