This new pork casserole recipe I created is filled with sauteed sliced pork chops, angel hair pasta, corn, artichoke hearts, and my famous honey margarine.

Ingredients For honey margarine pork casserole

  • 1 1/2 stick
    margarine
  • 3/4 c
    honey
  • 2 c
    crumbled real bacon bits, divided
  • 1 lb
    dried angel hair pasta
  • 1 c
    shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 6
    boneless pork chops, sliced into strips (about 1-inch thick each)
  • 1 md
    red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    steak seasoning
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup (11.5 oz)
  • 1 can
    whole kernel corn, drained (14.75 oz)
  • 1 jar
    marinaded artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 8 oz
    processed American cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 c
    dry bread crumbs

How To Make honey margarine pork casserole

    In a small bowl, beat the margarine and honey together for 30 seconds until blended.

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Add 1 cup crumbled real bacon bits.

    Cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl. Add shredded Parmesan cheese; mix well.

    Heat 2 tablespoons honey margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add sliced pork chops and saute for 5 minutes or until browned. Stir in chopped red bell peppers, steak seasoning and 2 tablespoons honey margarine. Reduce to low heat.

    In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, 2 tablespoons honey margarine, and remaining bacon bits together for 3 minutes until blended.

    Pour the mushroom soup mixture into the pork strip mixture. Stir in the angel hair pasta mixture, corn, chopped artichoke hearts, and cubed American cheese. Let it simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

    Transfer into the prepared baking pan. Spread with remaining honey margarine evenly and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

    Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and the top is golden brown.
