My daughter has been trying to lose a few pounds but loves fattening food, lol, poor girl, so I told her I would help by making tweaks in her favorite recipes & this is 1 she loves.

Ingredients For healthier mexican-style lasagna

1 lbground turkey-at least 93% fat free

1 cwater
-
1 pkgsmall packet, taco seasoning mix

1small ( or 1/2 can of 16 oz can,) refried beans
-
116 oz jar, mild salsa
-
10lasagna noodles
-
114 oz jar light alfredo sauce
-
2 creduced fat mexican style shredded cheese
-
1 smcan, sliced black olives, drained
-
1/4 csliced green onions
-
1/3 cfavorite taco sauce
-
1/2 clight or fat free sour cream
How To Make healthier mexican-style lasagna

1Spray a large skillet w/ cooking spray & set the skillet over med-high heat. Add ground turkey. Brown a little & break up as you cook. Add water taco seasoning mix and stir.

2Stir in 1/2 the refried beans, stir. Turn off heat. Spread 1/2 cup salsa into bottom of a 9" x 13" casserole pan. Place a layer of noodles over salsa. Spread 1/2 of the ground turkey mix over noodles. Spread w/ 1/2 the Alfredo sauce.

3Place `1/2 cup salsa on top. Sprinkle w/ 1/2 cup shredded cheese. Repeat layering. Cover w/ foil, ( spray foil w/ a little cooking spray to prevent foil from sticking to casserole top,) Bake 35-40 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with bowls of sliced black olives, green onions, taco sauce and sour cream.
