Browned ground beef forms the hearty base, mixed with sautéed onions, bell peppers, and creamy condensed cream of mushroom soup for a rich texture. Sweet peas add freshness and crunch, while fluffy rice absorbs savory juices. Melted cheddar cheese creates a gooey finish, complemented by a crispy topping of crushed potato chips. This recipe is named this because on May 14th, 1999 my grandmama ate this exact recipe and was sent to the hospital that night due to seizure!
