Ingredients For creamy chicken casserole

1 pkg(12 ounces) egg noodles, cooked

1/4 cbutter

1/2onion, diced

3cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cflour
-
2 cchicken broth
-
2 cmilk
-
1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

2 cfrozen peas
-
1 lbcooked, diced chicken

2 cshredded cheddar cheese
-
1 ccrushed ritz crackers
-
1/4 cgrated parmesan cheese

2-3 tspolive oil
How To Make creamy chicken casserole

1Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add in onion and salute 5-7 minutes. Stir in garlic and flour and cook 1 minute. Slowly pour in chicken broth and milk, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.

2Once mixture has thickened , stir in peas, cheddar cheese and chicken.Turn off the heat and stir until cheese is melted. Add to cooked pasta and put in greased 9 X 13 inch pan.

3In a small bowl, use a fork to mix together crushed crackers, Parmesan and olive oil. Sprinkle over the pasta. Bake at 400 degrees, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve hot.
