crazy style cornbread casserole

I created this new cornbread casserole recipe that will be on Crazy Style? It's great with a side of fried chicken.

Ingredients For crazy style cornbread casserole

  • CRAZY STYLE SAUCE
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 c
    chunky blue cheese dressing
  • 4 tsp
    pickled jalapeno liquid
  • 1/2 c
    honey mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    creole seasoning
  • 1/4 c
    chopped pickled jalapenos
  • 1 Tbsp
    sea salt mixed with black pepper
  • CASSEROLE
  • 1 pkg
    cornbread mix
  • 1 can
    cream style corn
  • 1 can
    whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 3/4 c
    shredded colby cheese
  • 1
    large carrot, diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    sea salt mixed with black pepper
  • 6
    bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 1
    banana pepper, sliced

How To Make crazy style cornbread casserole

    To make the Crazy Style Sauce, combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk together for 2 minutes until blended. Set aside.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    To make the casserole, combine cornbread mix, cream style corn, whole kernel corn, sour cream, shredded colby jack cheese, diced carrots and sea salt/black pepper in a large bowl. Stir together for 3 minutes until blended.

    Add half the crazy style sauce into cornbread batter; mix well.

    Pour into a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and sliced banana peppers evenly over the top.

    Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely for 10 minutes.

    Slowly drizzle the remaining crazy style sauce all over the casserole.
