6 ozelbow or spiral macaroni

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1/2 csour cream

1/2 tspbasil

1 tspaccent

2 lbhamburger

1/2 cgreen onion, sliced

3 slicebacon, but 1/2 inch thick

2 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1 Tbspparsley

8 ozmushroom stems and pieces, canned, drained

16 oztomato sauce
How To Make company casserole, mom's

1Cook macaroni, drain and combine with cheese, sour cream, basil and accent and spread over the bottom of a shallow 3 quart casserole. Brown bacon slowly in frying pan, add mushroom and onion and cook 1 minute. Add beef, cook and stir until meat is browned. Add salt, pepper, parsley and tomato after you drain off the fat. Cook 1 minute to blend the flavors. Pour over macaroni and sprinkle with parsley and shredded cheese if desired. Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes. Can be easily refrigerated or frozen for baking at a later time.
