chinese buffet crab casserole
This casserole is my version of one of my favorite choices at our local Chinese buffet. I know some people don't care for imitation crab, but if you do, I think you'll really like this casserole.

Ingredients For chinese buffet crab casserole

4 ozcream cheese, softened

1/2 csour cream
-
2 Tbspmayonnaise

1 Tbspmilk
-
1/2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

a dashlemon juice (optional)

1/4 tspgarlic powder
-
1/8 tspfine pink himalayan salt
-
1/2 tspsugar
-
1/2 cgreen onions, thinly sliced

1/2 ccelery, thinly sliced

16 ozimitation crab meat
-
1/4 cshredded cheddar cheese, divided
-
1/4 cshredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1 tspsnipped chives for garnish (optional)
How To Make chinese buffet crab casserole

1Gather and prep ingredients. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

2In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

3Add sour cream, mayonnaise, milk, worcestershire sauce, a few drops of lemon juice (if using,) garlic, salt and sugar. Beat until fairly smooth.

4Stir in the green onions and celery; mix well.

5Stir in the imitation crab meat.

6Spread the mixture in an 8"x8" greased baking dish.

7Sprinkle top with cheeses.

8Bake at 325 degrees F for 45 minutes, until cheese is melted and lightly browned.

9Garnish with chives if desired. Serve hot or warm. Promptly cover and refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days. Gently rewarm individual portions in microwave on half power.
