I created this recipe to be a new kind of chicken Parmesan using chicken tenders.

1 cshaved Parmesan cheese

2 mdtomatoes, seeded and diced

16 ozuncooked rotini pasta

6 tspItalian seasoning, divided

1 cgrated romano cheese

1 bagfrozen (all-white meat) chicken tenders
-
1 pkgshredded pizza cheese blend, divided (16 oz)

1 jarmarinara sauce (32 oz)

3/4 cheavy cream
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
1 cgrated Parmesan cheese, divided
How To Make chicken tender parmesan casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Coat the bottom and sides of a 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add shaved Parmesan cheese and diced tomatoes; mix well.

3Cook rotini pasta according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a medium bowl. Add 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning and grated romano cheese; mix well until blended. Set aside.

4Place chicken tenders in the baking sheet. Bake for 6 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely for 8 minutes. Sliced into 1/2-inch pieces.

5Combine cooked rotini pasta mixture, sliced chicken tenders, 1/2 package shredded pizza cheese blend and 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese in a large bowl.

6Stir in marinara sauce. Pour the heavy cream and add garlic powder and remaining Italian seasoning into the empty marinara sauce jar; cover and shake the jar and empty the contents into the rotini pasta mixture.

7Stir to combine. Pour into a prepared baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.

8Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil and sprinkle with remaining shredded pizza cheese blend and parmesan cheese.

9Return to the oven and continue baking for 30 minutes until the cheeses are melted. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
