Until we lived in Belgium, and we made chutney as part of a home economics class, I had no idea what it was. Then in Scotland I learned what the wonderful combo of chutney mixed with curry tasted like. This is the best of both, and very good.

Ingredients For chicken chutney pie

  • 9" pie crust
  • 2 Tbsp
    sauteed onion
  • 3/4 c
    cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    mango chutney
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz
    monterey jack, shredded
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/4 tsp
    curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • dash
    white pepper

How To Make chicken chutney pie

  • 1
    Layer chicken, chutney and shredded cheese in pie shell. Beat soup, eggs, milk and seasonings together and pour over chicken. Bake at 400 degrees 35-40 minutes. Let stand 5 min to firm before serving.
