Ingredients For cheesy chicken penne casserole

2 cchicken, cooked chopped

1 pkgpenne pasta

3 Tbspbutter
-
3 Tbspflour

1 Tbspchicken seasoning

1 tsppoultry seasoning

1 1/2 tsponion powder
-
1 cchicken stock
-
1 cmilk
-
1 cansmall green chilies
-
1 smjar of pimentos
-
2 cshredded cheddar cheese
-
1/4 csour cream
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
extra shredded cheese for topping

crushed saltines
How To Make cheesy chicken penne casserole

1Boil pasta according to package and drain

2Preheat oven to 350 grease a casserole dish and add cooked pasta

3Drain the chilies and pimento into the chicken stock
-
4Heat butter over med heat add flour and spices and cook for a minute.

5Whisk in milk and chicken stock. Stir until thickened
-
6Remove from heat and stir in cheese and stir until melted.

7Stir in chicken, green chilies and pimentos add salt and pepper to taste

8Pour sauce mixture over pasta and add sour cream stir to combine everything together

9Top with shredded cheese then crushed saltines. Grate some butter over the crackers and bake for 30 minutes
