I love making casseroles!!! Even though it's a little more time consuming with prep time, it's totally worth it!! My family loves this dish! It has just the right amount of spice, and the creamy cheesy texture is what comfort food is all about!! If there are any leftovers, it reheats well the next day!!

1 1/2 lbground beef

1 lgonion

1 pkgcheesy taco seasoning

1 pkgtaco seasoning mix

1 cankidney beans
-
1 cancorn
-
1 cancream of mushroom soup

1 canfiesta nacho cheese soup

1 canrotel
-
1 canevaporated milk
-
1 bagfamily size doritos
-
4 cshredded mexican blend cheese

8 sliceamerican cheese

sour cream (optional)
How To Make cheesy beefy dorito casserole

1In a large skillet brown ground beef with chopped onion. Drain.

2Add 2 packets of taco seasoning and the kidney beans. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until sauce is reduced to a thick mixture.

3Add soups, corn, rotel, and milk. Mix well and simmer for another 10 minutes.

4In a 9 x 13 casserole dish, add a layer of crushed Doritos, top with meat and soup mixture, then 1 bag of cheese and 8 slices of American cheese. Repeat layers 1 more time, minus the american cheese. Reserve some Doritos to top casserole.

5Bake at 375 covered for 30 minutes. Remove foil and cook another 15 minutes. Top with Doritos and serve with sour cream and enjoy!!
