I have had this recipe for years. I used to make it when my children were young. They enjoyed this casserole very much.

Ingredients For browned rice & pork casserole

  • 4 md
    pork chops, boneless
  • seasoned salt
  • 1/2 c
    uncooked rice
  • 1 jar
    beef gravy (10 3/4 ounce )
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 md
    onions (sliced)
  • 4 md
    carrots - 1 inch slices

How To Make browned rice & pork casserole

    Sprinkle pork chops with seasoned salt. Brown well on both sides in hot skillet. Remove pork chops to 2 quart casserole.

    Add rice to drippings in skillet and cook stirring until browned. Stir in gravy and water.

    Arrange onions and carrots on top of chops. Pour on gravy mixture

    Bake 1 hour at 350º or until pork chops are done and veggies are tender.
