Ingredients For baked spaghetti

  • 1 lg
    jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pkg
    spaghetti seasoning (see notes)
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1
    onion, diced
  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar
  • 1/2 lb
    spaghetti noodles, semi cooked

How To Make baked spaghetti

  • 1
    Brown meat, onion, garlic, pepper and salt. Drain, add seasoning, sauce and water. Cover and simmer 20-25 minutes. Put 1/2 spaghetti, broken into pieces, into a lightly greased casserole dish. Layer with half the sauce and half the cheese. Repeat a second layer. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees, then 10-15 minutes longer uncovered.
