Here's another new chicken fries recipe. It's bacon, ranch and buffalo. The chicken fries are marinaded in a wing sauce mixture and on a bed of crumbled blue cheese, the angel hair pasta is tossed with real bacon bits and the sauce is delicious, made with heavy cream, ranch dressing mix, cream cheese, and half of the wing sauce.

  • 1 bag
    frozen chicken fries
  • 1 c
    Italian salad dressing
  • 1 3/4 c
    creamy wing sauce, divided
  • 6 Tbsp
    grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 2 c
    crumbled blue cheese, divided
  • 1 lb
    uncooked angel hair pasta
  • 1 c
    crumbled cooked bacon
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 3/4 c
    half and half
  • 1
    packet ranch dressing mix
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened

How To Make bacon ranch buffalo chicken fries casserole

    In a large ziplock bag, combine chicken fries, Italian salad dressing, 3/4 cup wing sauce and 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese; shake well. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add 1 cup crumbled blue cheese.

    Cook angel hair pasta according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl, and mix with crumbled bacon and remaining Parmesan cheese about 30 seconds until combined. Set aside.

    Transfer the chicken fries to the prepared baking dish using tongs.

    Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Combine heavy cream, half and half, ranch dressing mix, cream cheese and remaining wing sauce. Stir and let it simmer for 5 minutes or until thick and creamy.

    Remove from heat. Add angel hair pasta mixture and stir until combined.

    Pour onto chicken fries mixture and mix evenly. Sprinkle with remaining crumbled blue cheese.

    Bake for 25 minutes or until are golden brown. Cool completely.
