This is an easy to prepare and a really tasty dish. I make it often since my family loves it.

Ingredients For amish casserole

  • 2 c
    raw pasta of choice, i use rotini
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1
    large onion, chopped
  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 can
    tomato soup
  • 1 can
    mushroom soup
  • 1 c
    milk
  • salt and pepper, to your taste
  • garlic powder, to your taste
  • dried parsley, for topping
  • paprika, for topping

How To Make amish casserole

    Pre-heat oven to 350*. Spray a 9X13 oven dish with cooking spray. Cook the pasta, in a large pot as per the directions on the box.

    Meanwhile, brown the ground beef, adding the onion. When the pasta is done, drain and return to the pot. Add the meat, onion, milk and soups. Stir well to mix. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

    Transfer to prepared oven dish, sprinkle with parsley and paprika. Bake 25 minutes.

    Cooks note. I use Campbell's Home Style Harvest Tomato with Basil. It makes the dish a little moister and we like it that way. I use regular Campbell's condensed Mushroom soup. Feel free to add any of your favorite seasonings.
