The way I make this includes only 5 ingredients, but you can literally add whatever you want to this cornbread mix. You literally can’t go wrong!

Ingredients For 5 ingredient jalapeño cornbread bake

  • 1 box
    jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1 can
    chopped green chiles
  • 1 c
    shredded cheese
  • 1 can
    corn, drained
  • 1 lb
    ground beef

How To Make 5 ingredient jalapeño cornbread bake

    Preheat oven to 425°.
  • 2
    Brown your meat, seasoning with whatever makes your heart happy. I use Dan-O’s, garlic powder and onion powder (on just about everything).

    Mix cornbread while meat is cooking.

    When your meat is done, drain and add to cornbread mixture.

    Add corn, cheese, and jalapeños, and mix.

    Pour mixture in a 9×13 casserole dish and top with more shredded cheese.

    Bake for about 20 minutes, or until cheese on top is to your liking.
