This can be adjusted based on the weight of the package of ground beef. For example, a 1.29 pound package of beef rounds up to about 1 1/3 of whatever unit of the other ingredients and makes 4 extra large or six small/healthy sized patties. Patties may be frozen after cooking.

Ingredients For savory baked cheese burgers

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 c
    grated cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    bread crumbs, dry
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp
    salt & pepper (half each)

How To Make savory baked cheese burgers

    Preheat oven to 400F. Grease rack and surface of baking sheet or line with foil before adding rack.

    Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

    Shape into patties, about 4 per pound of meat. Place on greased rack over baking pan.

    Bake about 20 minutes or until internal temperature of 140F degrees.
