Ingredients For homemade brat burgers w beer braised onions

  • 1 lb
    ground pork
  • 1 tsp
    each coriander, sage, dry mustard, and salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    each, dried rosemary, paprika, white pepper and nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lg
    sweet onion
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 12 oz
    beer
  • 4 slice
    cheese
  • 4
    buns

How To Make homemade brat burgers w beer braised onions

  • 1
    Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Slice onions into rounds and separate. Add to oil and saute until caramelized about 10 minutes. Add the Worcestershire sauce and beer. Turn heat to medium and let cook until beer has evaporated and the onions are golden. Season with some salt.

    Mix the pork with the spices. Shape into patties and fry until done. Top with caramelized onions, cheese and serve on buns with favorite toppings.
