Ingredients For greek turkey burgers with spiced yogurt sauce

1 lbground turkey (i use the thigh mead, not as dry as the breast when cooked)

1/2 cfeta cheese crumbles

2 tspdried oregano
-
1/2 tspdried thyme
-
1/2 tspground black pepper
-
2 tspolive oil
-
1/4 cplain yogurt
-
1/4 tspground cumin (or to taste)

salt, to taste

4hamburger buns, toasted (i use whole-wheat)

lettuce, tomato slices and cucumber slices, for topping (optional)
How To Make greek turkey burgers with spiced yogurt sauce

1In a large bowl, combine turkey, feta, oregano, thyme and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Shape into 4 patties.

2Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat until hot. Add the patties and cook 5 minutes per side, or until burgers are cooked through.

3Season yogurt to taste with cumin, salt and remaining pepper.

4Serve the burgers on the buns and top each with 1 tablespoon of the yogurt mixture. Garnish with toppings, if desired.
