Ingredients For greek style chicken burgers

  • 1 lb
    ground chicken
  • 1/2 c
    dry Italian bread crumbs
  • 2
    egg whites or 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp
    finely diced red onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    finely diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp. dry basil
  • 2 tsp
    dry oregano
  • 2 oz
    crumbled feta cheese
  • salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make greek style chicken burgers

  • 1
    Using clean hands, mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.

    Divide the chicken mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into patties.

    Spray broiler pan with some cooking spray. Broil patties 5 inches from heat for 5 minutes per side or until juices run clear and chicken is cooked through.

    Serve on a bun with your favorite veggie toppings or serve without a bun and a bit of tzatziki sauce.
