    olive oil
  • 1 lb
    fresh asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces

    beef broth
  • 4 c
    cooked farfelle pasta (bow ties)
  • 1 can
    (15 oz.) tomato sauce (i buy diced tomatoes and blend them up)
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh, lightly chopped basil leaves
  • 3 Tbsp
    coarsly chopped sundried tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 c
    grated, fresh parmesan

How To Make zesty beef with bow ties

    Trim fat from sirloin. Cut beef across the grain into bite size cubes.

    Heat olive oil over medium heat. Saute onions until fragrant and crisp-tender.

    Add remaining olive oil to skillet. Add sirloin. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until meat is no longer pink.

    Return onions. Stir in remaining 1 cup of beef broth and crushed tomatoes. Simmer 10 minutes.

    Stir in cooked pasta.
