Ingredients For yom tov meatballs

1 lbchopd meat (i use chopd turkey)

1matzo board

1egg, slightly beaten

1 tspsalt

1/4 tspblack pepper

1/2 cmatzo meal

3 Tbspvegetable shortening

1 mdonion, chopd

3/4 cred wine (dry concord wine)

1 cantomato n mushroom sauce (i used reg tom sauce n 1/4 cup chopd mushrooms)
How To Make yom tov meatballs

1SOAK BROKEN MATZO IN 1/3 CUP OF WATER UNTIL ABSORBED. COMBINE WITH CHOPD MEAT, EGG, SALT N PEPPER. FORM MIXTURE INTO ABOUT 25-30 MEATBALLS...THE SIZE OF A WALNUT THEN ROLL IN MATZO MEAL.

2HEAT SHORTENING IN LARGE PAN ADD MEATBALLS N ONION COOK OVER MED HEAT TILL LIGHTLY COLORED ON ALL SIDES.

3IN SMALL BOWL COMBINE REMAINN INGREDIENTS N POUR OVER MEATBALLS... COVER N SIMMER FOR 15 MINUTES N ENJOY :)
