I remember making this dish the first time for my sister and brother in law when their first son was born and my sister was overwhelmed with her first baby..He will be 30 years old this month. I usually use beef broth instead of the wine.

Ingredients For wild rice kabobs

1 lb. beef stew meat

2 t. oil

2 garlic cloves,minced
-
6 oz box rice a- roni long grain &wild rice

2 1/4 c hot water
-
1/4 c dry white wine or beef broth

1 onion,cut in wedges
-
12 mushrooms,sliced
-
salt and pepper to taste
-
1 green bell pepper,chopped
-
1 tomato, seeded and chopped
How To Make wild rice kabobs

1Season beef with salt and pepper. Brown beef in hot oil with garlic. Add rice spice mixture, stir until brown. Add water,wine,rice,onion and mushrooms. Bring to boil;simmer,covered 30 minutes,adding green peppers last five minutes. Before serving,stir in tomatoes.
