I found this recipe in a cookbook and changed it a little to make it my own. My kids love it and they are very picky eaters

Ingredients For upside down pizza

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2 dash
    italian seasoning
  • 1 jar
    pizza sauce
  • 1 can
    mushrooms, canned (optional)
  • 1 can
    black olives, siced (optional)
  • 2 c
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 can
    crescent rolls, refrigerated
  • any pizza toppings of your choice

How To Make upside down pizza

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.

    Brown the ground beef until no longer pink. I always drain off the grease and rinse with hot water in a colander to rinse off any added grease.

    Return to pan and add Italian seasoning and pizza sauce. Cook until heated through.

    Place Ground beef mix into the bottom of a 11x13 in. pan. Add any pizza toppings you like. (My kids like black olives) Then sprinkle pizza cheese on top of toppings.

    You then place crescent rolls to cover cheese. Pinch perforated edges together to form one even layer. Then bake for around 10 minutes or until top is cooked thoroughly and golden in color.
