unstuffed cabbage rolls
My husband has always loved cabbage rolls and I decided to create my own recipe for unstuffed cabbage rolls, making it quicker, easier & more flavorful. We both thought this was just delicious and better than any cabbage rolls we had ever eaten! Hope you like it! And such a quick & easy recipe!

Ingredients For unstuffed cabbage rolls

1 - 1 1/2 lblean ground beef

mdcabbage head, chopped

Largeonion, diced

2 Tbspgarlic, minced

3 Tbspolive oil
-
1 candiced tomatoes ((14.5 oz)
-
1 canstewed tomatoes (14.5 oz)
-
1/2 canwater
-
1 1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 tsppepper
-
2 ccooked instant white rice
-
3 Tbspbutter
-
1 cantomato sauce (15 oz.)

About 1 creal bacon pieces
How To Make unstuffed cabbage rolls

1Add olive oil to large skillet. Heat. Add diced onions, ground beef. Brown, add garlic, cook for a minute or two, add butter, add Diced tomatoes including liquid, tomato sauce, and 1/2 can water.

2Crush stewed tomatoes with hands or blender including liquid, add to beef mixture.

3Add salt & pepper. Add bacon & cabbage. Put lid on & simmer for 15-20 min on low.

4Add cooked rice and stir well.
