Ingredients For two bean chili

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lg
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 3 c
    tomato juice
  • 1 can
    kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can
    great northern beans or white kidney (cannellini ) beans, rinsed and drained

How To Make two bean chili

  • 1
    In medium skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef, green pepper, onion, chili powder ad black pepper until beef is browned, stirring to separate meat. Pour off fat.

    Add tomato juice and beans and heat through. Top with you choice of toppings from sour cream to green onions, cheese and tomato, or avocado.
