Ingredients For triple cheese burgers

2 1/2 lbground beef

1/4 cdry bread crumbs

1/4 conion, finely chopped

1 lgegg

1 tspsalt

1 tspworcestershire sauce

1/2 tspbasil

1/4 tsppepper

1/4 tspgarlic salt

6 Tbspcottage cheese

1/4 cparmesan cheese, grated

8 oztomato sauce

How To Make triple cheese burgers

1Mix the meat, bread crumbs, onion, egg and seasonings together.

2Shape the mixture into 12 thin patties, each about 4-inches in diameter.

3Top each of 6 patties with 1 tablespoons of the cottage cheese, spreading to within 1/2-inch of the edge, sprinkle on 2 teaspoon of the parmesan cheese, and top each patty with one of the remaining patties sealing the edges firmly.

4Brown the patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning once.

5Drain off the fat and pour the tomato sauce over the patties.

6Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.

7Place a cheese slice on each patty, cover, and heat until the cheese is melted, about 2 minutes.

8Serve with the remaining sauce in the skillet poured over them.

9You can use either mozzarella or swiss cheese slices.

10Each slice should be 3 X 3 inches square.
