Ingredients For tourtiere pie

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lg
    potato
  • 1 lg
    onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cloves/ all spice
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1
    9" double pie crust

How To Make tourtiere pie

  • 1
    Cook potato until done, mash. Place potato,pork,beef diced onions,spices and water in large frying pan. Brown mean and other ingrediants together. Simmer for 1 hour, stir occasionally.

    Spoon fill into pie crust and spread evenly. Cover with top layer pie crust. Bake at 350 for 50 min.
