Tonight was my first time making chili, so it was certainly a learning experience! I got the recipe on this site, and even with modifications it was MUCH too spicy for my fiance and small children! So this is my adapted recipe to suit my family's tastes. :)

Slow Cooker Crock Pot
Ingredients For three bean chili

2 can(15oz size) black beans
-
2 can(15oz size) red kidney beans
-
2 can(15oz size) pinto beans
-
2 can(7oz size) diced tomato & green chile
-
2 can(small) tomato paste
-
28 oztomato sauce
-
2red bell peppers, diced
-
1yellow onion, diced
-
14 ozdiced green chiles
-
1 Tbspminced garlic
-
1 tsporegano
-
1 Tbspcumin
-
3 Tbspchili powder
-
1 Tbspolive oil
-
2 cwater
-
2 cansweet corn
How To Make three bean chili

1Drain & rinse beans & corn. Set aside.

2In large stock pot: sautee onions, garlic & bell pepper in 1 tbsp oil.

3Add tomato sauce, tomato paste & 2 cups water. Stir.

4Add spices. Mix well.

5Add diced tomato & green chile - include liquids. Add green chiles. Stir.

6Add beans, mix well. Move to crock pot & cook on low for 4 hours.
