Ingredients For the brisket recipe

  • 3/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 c
    ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 gal
    ground ginger
  • 1
    envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 12 oz
    beer
  • 2 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 3-4 lb
    beef brisket
  • 15
    small red potatoes
  • 1 1/2 lb
    baby carrots

How To Make the brisket recipe

    Preheat oven to 325
  • 2
    Place brisket fat side up in large baking pan.
  • 3
    Place potatoes and carrots around brisket.
  • 4
    Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour over the brisket.
  • 5
    Cover and bake 3 1/2 hours, basting occasionally. Check for tenderness. Return to oven until tender. Slice and serve.
