Ingredients For thai ground beef lettuce wraps

  • 1 c
    thinly sliced leek white and light green parts only
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp
    red curry paste
  • 1/2 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    tomato paste
  • 1/4 c
    coconut cream
  • juice and zest of 1 small lime
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 c
    fresh cilantro chopped
  • sweet chili sauce to drizzle on top

How To Make thai ground beef lettuce wraps

  • 1
    Coat a nonstick pan with cooking spray. Add the leek and cook for 5 minutes than add the garlic and saute 1 minute. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.

    Stir in the curry paste, tomato sauce and tomato paste cook 2 minutes. Add the coconut milk, lime juice and zest, brown sugar, and fish sauce. Cook until thickened.

    Serve on lettuce leaves with sprinkled with cilantro and drizzle with sweet chili sauce.
