Ingredients For texas hash

  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 3 clove
    garlic chopped
  • 1 lg
    onion chopped
  • 1 md
    bell pepper chopped
  • 3
    jalapeno peppers chopped ribs and seeds removed
  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 2 can
    pettie diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 c
    can or frozen corn
  • 1 tsp
    chilli powder
  • 1/2 c
    uncooked rice
  • salt and pepper
  • 11/2 c
    any kind of shreded cheese

How To Make texas hash

  • 1
    In large pan cook garlic, onion, bell peppers and jalapeno peppers in olive oil about 5 minutes. Then add hambuger meat and cook until no longer pink. Do not drain.

    Add cans of tomatoes, corn, chili powder, rice, salt and pepper to taste. Let cook for about 5 minutes.

    Pour mixture into a 9x13 pan cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

    Take out of oven leave covered and let sit for about 5 minutes. Remove cover and spread cheese over top.
