Ingredients For tangy meat balls

  • 3 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 can
    (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • SAUCE
  • 2 c
    ketchup
  • 1-1/2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    liquid smoke flavoring (i use 1/2 tsp)

How To Make tangy meat balls

  • 1
    Mix together first seven ingredients well. Shape into meat balls, (I use a ice cream scoop)place in two 9 x 13 x 2 baking pans. Bake uncovered at 375* for 30 min. Remove from oven and drain.

    In a sauce pan bring all sauce ingredients to a boil. Pour over meatballs and bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
