Ingredients For tamale pot pie

  • MEAT MIXTURE:
  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 10 oz
    pkg. frozen corn
  • 1 can
    (15 oz.) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 2 oz
    can sliced olives, drained
  • 2 Tbsp
    Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 c
    Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 c
    yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1
    egg

How To Make tamale pot pie

  • Everything together in casserole dish

    In skillet, brown ground beef; drain. Add remaining meat mixture ingredients and heat to boiling. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Pour into 9 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish.

    In small bowl, combine topping ingredients; mix well. Spread topping mixture over meat.
  • Baked with first serving removed

    Bake at 400° for about 25 minutes or until crust is light brown.
