I make this all the time and it seems I make a change every time but it is always yummy. I hope you try this and get creative and make it your own. Enjoy!

Ingredients For tacosagna

  • 1 lb
    ground beef/ turkey
  • 1 sm
    bell pepper
  • 1 sm
    onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes
  • 1 can
    beans, drained
  • 1 c
    corn, canned or frozen
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 pkg
    tortillas, flour
  • 1/4-1/2 c
    cheese, shredded

How To Make tacosagna

    Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2
    Brown meat with onions and peppers until no longer pink.
  • 3
    Add all spices and cook for 1-2 minutes.

    Add tomatoes, corn, and beans.
  • 5
    Add the cream cheese and stir until combined and melted.
  • 6
    In an oven proof baking dish (I use a 9in. spring form pan) place a small spoonful of mixture on bottom (or olive oil) and then top with a tortilla. Now layer the mixture and tortillas. I like to top mine with mixture and shredded cheese so the tortilla does not get too crunchy.

    Bake in oven for about 20-25 minutes until melty and delicious.
