I like to create my own recipes, and my hubby is great about rating my experiments. Most pass muster, and this one did.

Ingredients For taco pie

1 lbground beef
-
2frozen deep dish pie shells

2 cshredded cheddar cheese

1 cancorn, drained

1 canblack beans, drained and rinsed

1each red and green pepper, chopped

1large onion, chopped
-
1large jar salsa
-
1 pkgtaco seasoning mix

1/4 call purpose flour
How To Make taco pie

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2Fry together the peppers, onion and hamburger until the burger is no longer pink. Add the taco seasoning and the flour, mix in the salsa, corn and black beans. Cook for agout 5 minutes, or until mixture thickens

3Divide the hamburger mixture between the 2 pie crust and top each one with 1 cup of the cheese, spreading evenly over the top.

4Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool slightly before serving, for ease of cutting. Serve with sour cream on the side.
